it is a real easy train travelling planning and booking especially for those without seat reservations, the rail planner apps is also easy to use Suggesting the seat reservations fee and the system to be much more improved as I booked for some trip but said FULL so I have to FIND which are not full, eventually it happen thay when in the station, the TRAIN MANAGER, can always find EMPTY SEATS for those who want to change to earlier time The seat reservation fee is too expensive as in many cases I can see if I DARE TO TAKE last minutes booking, the ticket to pay is MUCH CHEAPER than the total I pay using global pass plus seat reservation, this is not fair somehow
Just the fact that I could get on and off at a whim. That I could just head into another country with the click of scheduling on my phone.
it was great. I love the train. I thought I had a problem with not being able to use them, but I did and I'm gonna try to finish them up because I live in the United States and I don't know when I will be getting back here again, but yes, all in all very good. I freaked out because I couldn't use them in. There were so much money buteverything worked out
The app was difficult to use. Even people trying to help be that we're younger and more tech savvy said it was not a very user friendly app.
I am 70 years old and had used physical pass before. I like the paper pass. This time I had many problems in reserving seats!
There was good information at the Gare du Nord about the departure time and the respective platform of the train to Paris. There was also information in the carriages to Paris. The carriages were very comfortable and the train departed at the right time.

The overall experience was excellent. However, booking the seats via eurorail pass is a tedeous process which can be made easy. Moreover, I did not receive the reference number for my 2 year old daughter and as the whole process is unmanned it was difficult to find help.
During the travel in france and Paris they demand additional reservation charges which brings us discomfort and this TGV reservation charges should be part of Euro rail pass
Besides I save some money and time booking the trains, it was annoying to be paying extra for reserved seats, I think this should be included in the total cost.
Great! Everything was perfect.
It was very comfortable to my husband and me
comfortable , minimal people and noise

Remember, seat reservations aren’t included in your pass, and fees vary depending on the train and route. For high-speed trains, the average price is €10-15, and for night trains, it’s around €20. Check out our Eurail Seat Reservation Guide for step-by-step instructions.
