Our ticketing experience was fine...we thought we were booking the Bernina train with the full sun windows and table seats...that was not the case. That was very disappointing and misleading in the advertising. We did enjoy the sights, although the heater next to our window seats were so hot that it was uncomfortable. We even used our coats to try to insulate our legs from the heat. Luckily, we were able to open the windows for some cool air. All in all, it was nice scenery, just not what we expected.

The whole trip was really an enjoyable experience. Our guide Salvatori was superb in his description of the geography, history of the region and each of its notable specialties. It was an informative and pleasant guide of the different destinations. Driver Antonio was also on time and drove all of us safely and in good time. This pass was such a great investment! I would recommend it to anyone who likes to make spontaneous plans. It is a little pricier than the continuous pass, but it is worth the money. The only thing you should remember is that seat reservations for panoramic trains cost extra.
